Alfalit operates in 22 countries on four continents. We believe that the best way to alleviating poverty and human suffering is by providing educational opportunities to those who are the most needy.

When people learn to read and write, they will become not only productive citizens for their countries but they will also be able to provide economic opportunities for themselves and their families.

For the past 48 years  Alfalit has broken through many barriers to provide literacy, basic education for youth and adults, preschool, nutrition, community development programs, micro-credit, and health training to people all over the world.
