Teacher’s Manual

Teaching Guide.
A guide to organize, step by step, teaching schedules, presenting other Alfalit study books, using group dynamics and drama. It shows how to build a home library, a home Bible study guide, and encourge parents to read to their children.

Literacy Books

Equivalent to 3rd grade of primary education. The set for the facilitator/teacher includes a Teacher’s Manual, a reading book (La Cartilla), a card set and Teaching Guide; for the student: Writing 1,2 and 3, Arithmetic 1 and 2, Stories and Popular Sayings and other readings.

Basic Education Books

Same as the complete primary education. The Basic Education books are Science 1 and 2, Mathematics books from 1 to 8; Living Language from 1 to 6, Social Science and Human Physiology.

Alfalit Integrated Method

The Alfalit Integrated Method is a newly developed method for literacy and basic education which combines the original method of Laubach with an eclectic approach. It is centered on learners’ needs explored in a community setting, promoting self discovery and mutual problem solving.

Preschool Books

There are two levels of materials, Los Primeros Pasos de Aprendamos Juntos, (The First steps in Learning Together), and Aprendamos Juntos,( Let’s Learn Together), designed for use with children from 4-5 and from 5-6 years of age. There is a child’s workbook and teachers’ guide for each level and also a manual for preparing people who want to teach preschool children in an informal setting.

Nutrition

These books, Good Nutrition for All, Home Gardens, and Solar Cooking will help our students and communities learn to use more healthful foods and to use gardens and solar cooking to feed their families better.

Additional Reading

Books for new readers encourage and develop reading skills and also entertain and inform.

Alfalit continues to publish additional books that are easy to read and understand.

Familiar Stories and Sayings

Stories and Popular Sayings.
These are stories, popular sayings, riddles and simple poems, useful for individual or group settings.

Children’s Bible

A Mini Bible.
Illustrated Bible stories in full color. Easy to read and large print makes this kids Bible a favorite spiritual food for the little ones.

Comics Alfalit

An innovative way to attract young ones to read simple and interesting Bible stories.
Available comics include Jesus, Teacher and Savior; David, from Shepherd to King of Israel; Joseph, from Slave to Egypt’s Prime Minister.

Coloring Books

A collection of 40 titles.
Coloring books that help children have fun learning and studying Bible stories. Ideal for Kindergarten and Sunday School.
